Parents are asked to contribute 30 hours of service per family per year. We also welcome donations and volunteer hours from supporters in our community, grandparents and alumni.
There are many opportunities to help, including field trips, classroom assistance, food sales, office assistance, and many others.
Saint Anthony School uses a variety of fundraising activities throughout the year to supplement tuition. We work with several companies to offer parents a variety of opportunities to meet fundraising requirements.
Sunday Sales- Year Long Major Fundraiser
In addition, parents take part in food sales every Sunday after each Mass in order to help raise money for the school. Parents who donate for the Sunday sales get fundraising credit, by turning in their receipts to the office. Parents can donate food for the Sunday sales anytime of the year, until they are done with their fundraising. If you are one of our parents and is interested in donating for Sunday sales, just come in to the office and sign up. Parents can also do service ours during the Sunday sales. To do service hours, come in to the office and sign up at any time.

Volunteers would need to make a daily or weekly commitment to help students who need one-on-one assistance. Requirements: Application and Training

Physical Education Assistant
Volunteers assist the volunteer Physical Education Teacher in teaching P.E. one day a week to all classes. Requirements: Application and Training
Volunteers would coach or assist in coaching one of the school’s sports teams. Requirements: Application and Training
A volunteer who has experience in research and data entry to help formulate an alumni list and prospective donor list. A knowledge of the Long Beach area or an interest to learn would be helpful.
